Find Width:
Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. between inside surfaces of window frame; at the top, middle, and bottom. Record the narrowest width of the three.
Find Height:
Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. from inside surface at top of window to top of sill; at the left, middle, and right. Record the tallest height of the three.
Find Depth:
Measure exact depth of window casing making note of any obstacles i.e. handles, tracks or cranks that could interfere with the blind or shade function. Use the shortest depth.
For increased light control and privacy
Find Width:
Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. between outermost points where shade is to be placed. Measurement should overlap each side of window frame by at least 1 1⁄2 in.
Find Height:
Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. from where top of shade will be located to top of sill, or measure to point of shade reach if no sill.
Overall Shade Width - Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. between inside surfaces of window frame; at the top, middle, and bottom.
Left Shade Width - Measure the width that you want the left shade to cover.
Right Shade Width - Measure the width that you want the right shade to cover.
Overall Shade Height - Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. from inside surface at top of window to top of sill; at the left, middle and right.
Overall Shade Depth - Measure exact depth of window casing making note of any obstacles i.e. handles, tracks or cranks that could interfere with the blind or shade function.
Overall Shade Width - Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. between outermost points where shade is to be placed. Add an additional 3 in. to 6 in. to total width for maximum privacy.
Left Shade Width - Measure the width that you want the left shade to cover. Order this shade first when placing your order.
Right Shade Width - Measure the width that you want the right shade to cover.
Overall Shade Height - Measure to the nearest 1⁄8 in. from where top of shade will be located to top of sill, or measure to point of shade reach if no sill.
NOTE: Take all measurements to the nearest 1/8 in. DO NOT take any deductions. The factory will make the necessary adjustments to help ensure your shadings operate smoothly.
IMPORTANT: Before marking bracket locations, ensure that your bracket placement will not interfere with any components inside the headrail.
IMPORTANT: The brackets must be flush against a flat mounting surface. Do NOT mount brackets on curved molding
Continuous Cord Loop Cord Tension Device
Install the Tension Device
IMPORTANT: When installing into drywall or plaster, use 3⁄16" drill bit and insert wall anchors (size 1⁄2", not included) before inserting the screws. When installing in metal, use appropriate anchors for metal substrate.
IMPORTANT: The tension device provides smooth operation of the shade. The shade will not operate properly unless the tension device is installed.
WARNING: It Is imperative that the cord tensioner be properly secured to the wall or window frame to reduce children’s access to the cord loop. Young children can strangle in cord loops. They can also wrap cords around their necks and strangle.
Install Bottom Rail Operating Handle
Hold-Down Brackets (optional)
CAUTION: Hold shade firmly when removing. Failure to do so may result in the shade falling and possible injury.
CAUTION: Hold shade firmly when removing. Failure to do so may result in the shade falling and possible injury.
CAUTION: Hold shade firmly when removing. Failure to do so may result in the shade falling and possible injury.
Tip-to-Tip Measure is the common measure type for most roller shades. Choosing this measure type will include the headrail "pegs" that mount the shade to the wall or frame.
Cloth Measure is uncommon and should only be used for Outside Frame applications. The headrail is wider than the cloth of the shade which causes the "pegs" to extend beyond the width of the shade material. This total distance is 1-3/8" wide, or a gap of 11/16" on each side of the shade material.
NOTE: For outside mount applications allow the blind to overlap 1-1/2" to 3" on the sides, top and bottom of the window. You must add the overlap to your measurement; LEVOLOR does not add width or height for overlap on Outside Mounted shades.

All LEVOLOR Banded Shades have multiple cleaning options.
Note: Improper cleaning may void warranty
Dusting - Use a feather duster for regular cleaning.
Vacuuming - Use a low suction vacuum with a brush-type cleaner attachment; stroke lightly over the shade to clean.
Forced Air - Blow away dirt and debris using clean compressed air.
Spot-Cleaning/Stain Removal at Home - Use warm water and a mild soap, like Woolite® or Scotchgard®, if needed.
Professional Injection/Extraction Cleaning - Call local on-site blind/shade cleaner that injects a cleaning solution into the fabric and extracts the dirty solution at the same time. The service is typically performed at home so you do not need to remove your window treatments.
