To correct this issue, look inside the head rail and locate the spring motor (the mechanism that retracts the internal cords). Each end of the spring motor should have a shim/clip. Remove one and/or all of the shim/clips (view diagram), then check for improved operation. If the shade is still not operating smoothly, please contact customer service.
To retain crisp pleats, raise cellular shades at least once a day and leave in raised position for at least 2 hours.
The size of your cellular shade will determine how many brackets you receive. Refer to the list below to determine if you received the appropriate number of brackets.
