When it comes to cleaning and care for all blinds including Faux Wood, Real Wood, and Metal, these simple steps should help them maintain their beauty and functionality.
For regular cleaning, follow our common ways for cleaning and care, which consists of dusting, vacuuming with a brush attachment or using a can of compressed air (Wood Blinds only).
For all wood blinds, clean while hanging in place or by taking them down. When tilting the slats down but not quite closed, you can clean most of the top surface of each slat.
- For Faux Wood Blinds and Metal Blinds, use a soft, lightly dampened cloth to clean. Do not use solvents or abrasive solutions.
For Real Wood Blinds, you can use a non-wax furniture polish to clean blinds in very dusty environments. Do not use water, solvents, or abrasive solutions.
For Privacy Route Blinds, slats can be removed and cleaned by sliding out the slat, wiping it clean, and returning it to its original position. If a light gap occurs for any reason, simply flip the slat over to cover or close the gap.
