Custom Premium 9/16” Cellular Shades

These shades used to be the correct length. I've had them since 2017 and 7 of the 9 shades bought have creeped up. There is now a 2 inch gap at the bottom of all my windows when pulling them down. They used to go down to the window ledge when first installed but now hover in air. Also, 1 set of blinds has a funky manufacturing defect that we didn't notice till after we installed them a year later. Unfortunately, past the time to exchange it for a new one. I paid a small fortune for these to be light blocking and they won't even go down all the way now.

A few snafus. This replacement shade had different brackets than the old one, so we had to rip the old ones out first and screw in the new ones. We were hoping we could just snap in the new shade w/ the old brackets. Nope.

But the real problem is that the shade, which is 78" high / long, only comes with a cord which is about half that length. So, I'm supposed to get a step-stool everytime I want to lift or lower our $400 shade? Why would they not match the cord length to the length of the shade? REALLY?

I had three metal Levolor skylight shades in the ceiling of my sunroom, and the tilt controls failed from years of exposure and heat. They were sold with a "forever" warranty 23 years ago, and to my surprise, Levolor honored the warranty! The Accordia specialty shades were the recommended replacement. It was handled by Lowe's and a third party installer, who were both excellent. A second trip by the installer was needed to tighten the guide wires, but they fit perfectly and look great. The Levolor people were professional and accommodating. To honor a warranty that was decades old is exceptional customer service that deserves to be recognized.

I wish we would have bought these shades sooner! We have a great view of the Black Hills from our dining room. Before, we had Levolor slatted blinds which were great but we missed out on our view. Now, we can pull the top down, see our great view AND have amazing privacy at our table without the neighbors being able to see! The double comb is great too. One window faces the west and gets a lot of heat. It really blocks the heat and keeps our main floor much cooler! Best Buy Ever!

Thank you so much for carrying a top down cellular shade in our size! It is an ENORMOUS window and we love your shades. It works smoothly and our window looks beautiful with it installed. Finally, I feel like we have privacy, filtered light, and added warmth for our window.

This has become a comedy of errors. I ordered 6 motorized up and down blinds back in April 2024. It is now October 2024 and I have gone through 3 remakes. The strings that hold up the up & down function or so flimsy, they just snap. Levolor refuses to give me a full refund. Instead I have to wait a couple months for another remake which I know will have the same problem. What an absolute joke of a product. The same installation guy has been coming and even he is laughing at how ridiculous the situation is. I'm sure their manual shades are great but the motorized up and down's are are complete joke. I had the Hunter Douglas ones in my previous house and thought I'd save a little money with the Levolor ones, what could go wrong? EVERYTHING!!!!

Great for room darkening but sub par to my Shade-o-matic that are up/down shade. First, I wasn’t offered the continuos cord pull. Mine come with the plastic lift handle that you are always fixing to get the blinds to sit straight and not lop sided, you will always be fixing this if crookedness bothers you. Also, they float above the base of the window so they’re always swaying a little if knocked, they also slide up on two aluminum bands instead of strings like my old ones that effects if they hang balanced. The handle and how move around when adjusting drive me crazy. My olds ones are solid against my window frames, lift without swaying and don’t float over the window frame base even though inside mounted.

I regret not looking closer at these, and that we weren’t told about the cordless loop that probably would have made them sway less when moving up and down and the oversize header at top which our old ones don’t have.

I would never recommend these and would suggest a thorough investigation of blind options if looking.

I purchased online, measured myself (with the assistance of my husband) and the shade was perfect. We purchased it to replace bi-fold doors that were always in the way in our combination bathroom with a laundry nook. I got the light filtering option simply because it was less expensive (since the nook has no windows, there's no light to filter, I thought) and I am glad I did. Now when you turn on the light in the nook with the shade down, the whole shade glows a soft grey, which make a very fancy night light for the kids. They were also easy to install and the hardware was good quality and the instructions easy to follow.
