LEVOLOR App

LEVOLOR’s Bluetooth® enabled app allows you to schedule your window coverings to adjust automatically on a timed schedule, when paired with the Premium 6-Channel Remote.

Our unique technology allows users to program a schedule on the app while they are within range of the window covering and remote, and it will still operate once they leave the home. However, the app can not be used to adjust the programmed schedule while away from the home. The device with the app must be within the range of the remote and window covering to change the schedule.

bluetooth Bluetooth technology is a short-range wireless connection between electronic devices. Users need to be close by or “within range” in order for the devices to connect and talk to one another. LEVOLOR defines “within range” as being in the same room.

Premium Remote

Download the LEVOLOR App on your Apple and Android devices to walk through the pairing process. Use the App's scheduling function to program your window coverings to adjust automatically, while you're at home or away.

IMPORTANT: Before marking bracket locations, ensure that your bracket placement will not interfere with any components inside the headrail.

  • Verify that your window casing has a minimum depth of 1 ½" which allows for a partially recessed headrail mount.
  • If flush mount (fully recessed mount) is desired, a minimum mounting depth of 2 1⁄2" is required.
  • Place brackets at either end of inside mount frame.
  • Mark 1–2" from each jamb for bracket location.
  • With a pencil, mark the longer, oblong drill hole locations through the top of the holes of the bracket, 2 holes per bracket.

Step 1 - Outside Mount

Marking the Bracket Locations

IMPORTANT: The brackets must be flush against a flat mounting surface. Do NOT mount brackets on curved molding.

  • Center the headrail over the window opening at the desired height.
  • Mark screw locations for each end bracket, 2 holes per bracket.
Use a level to ensure all brackets are aligned.

Step 2 - Inside Mount

Installing the Brackets

  • Pre-drill screw holes using a 1⁄16" drill bit (wood and metal mounting surfaces only) using pencil marks as a guide.
If installing brackets into wood, use supplied screws.
If installing into drywall, use anchors in combination with supplied screws.
  • While holding the bracket in place, secure the bracket with screws, 2 screws per bracket.
  • Ensure all brackets are square with each other.

Step 2 - Outside Mount

Installing the Brackets

  • Pre-drill screw holes using a 1⁄16" drill bit, using pencil marks as a guide.
If installing brackets into wood, use supplied screws.
If installing into drywall or other, use anchors in combination with supplied screws.
  • Screw in brackets at marked locations, 2 screws per bracket.
  • Ensure all brackets are square with each other.

Step 3 - Inside Mount

  • Place bead-chain side of shade into end bracket first.
  • On the other side of shade, compress the spring loaded end plug and secure into opposite bracket.
Shade is secure when spring clicks into bracket.
  • Slide bracket end caps over brackets for a finished appearance.
  • CAUTION: Be sure the brackets are properly engaged before operating the shade. Failure to do so may result in the shade falling and possible injury.

Step 3 - Outside Mount

Installing the Shade

  • Place side of shade with the bead chain into end bracket first.
  • On the other side of shade, press in the spring loaded end plug and secure into opposite bracket
Shade is secure when spring clicks into bracket.

Solar Shades Guide

Measuring Types

Tip-to-Tip

Tip-to-Tip Measure is the common measure type for most roller shades. Choosing this measure type will include the headrail "pegs" that mount the shade to the wall or frame.

Cloth-to-Cloth

Cloth Measure is uncommon and should only be used for Outside Frame applications. The headrail is wider than the cloth of the shade which causes the "pegs" to extend beyond the width of the shade material. This total distance is 1-3/8" wide, or a gap of 11/16" on each side of the shade material.

NOTE: For outside mount applications allow the blind to overlap 1-1/2" to 3" on the sides, top and bottom of the window. You must add the overlap to your measurement; LEVOLOR does not add width or height for overlap on Outside Mounted shades.

Cleaning and Care

All LEVOLOR Solar Shades have multiple cleaning options.

Note: Improper cleaning may void warranty

Dusting - Use a feather duster for regular cleaning.

Vacuuming - Use a low suction vacuum with a brush-type cleaner attachment; stroke lightly over the shade to clean.

Forced Air - Blow away dirt and debris using clean compressed air.

Spot-Cleaning/Stain Removal at Home - Use warm water and a mild soap, like Woolite® or Scotchgard®, if needed.

Professional Injection/Extraction Cleaning - Call local on-site blind/shade cleaner that injects a cleaning solution into the fabric and extracts the dirty solution at the same time. The service is typically performed at home so you do not need to remove your window treatments.
